An autoimmune diagnosis can bring many questions, particularly when symptoms such as fatigue, pain, digestive changes or fluctuating energy begin affecting everyday life.
Conditions such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus can present differently from one person to another. That's why an individualised approach matters.
At Harvesting Health®, I bring together naturopathy, clinical nutrition and counselling to consider your overall health, nutritional wellbeing, lifestyle and emotional needs.
Having personally navigated Hashimoto's thyroiditis, I also understand that managing an autoimmune condition can involve far more than addressing laboratory results.
My aim is to help you feel informed, supported and actively involved in your wellbeing, while working alongside your existing medical care.
An Initial Integrative Health Consultation provides time to discuss your health history, current concerns and individual goals.

When I talk about autoimmune health, I'm not simply speaking as a naturopath or clinical nutritionist. I'm speaking from personal experience, too.
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid, and it gave me a very different perspective on what it means to live with a chronic health condition.
I know what it's like to have a diagnosis attached to your name. To wonder what it means for your future, what you can do to support your health, and whether things can ever feel different.
But something I've learned, both personally and professionally, is that we are so much more than a diagnosis.
My own experience strengthened my belief in looking at the bigger picture. Not just the thyroid, the antibodies or the pathology results, but the person behind them. Their nutrition, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, stress, personal history and the many factors that can influence how they feel.
And this is where my lived experience meets my clinical training.
Today, when someone comes to me with an autoimmune condition, I'm interested in more than the name of their diagnosis. I want to understand how it's affecting their everyday life, what challenges they're facing and what they hope to achieve.
I don't believe in promising cures or suggesting there's one solution for everyone. I believe in listening, exploring the evidence and working together to find practical ways to support health and wellbeing alongside appropriate medical care.
Because I've been on both sides of the consultation table. And I know how important it is to feel heard, understood and seen as a whole person.
