Functional Testing

Is testing absolutely necessary?  Or are we getting distracted by shiny new things? There is a place for testing but we believe that taking a detailed health history reveals a lot more than testing will to be honest. There are only so many biochemical reactions in the body and a trained ear will detect shortfalls and areas that require support. Testing can come at a considerable cost and for this reason, we don't  'jump straight on the testing bandwagon' as this cost might be better invested in your healing journey. Rather than highlighting specific parameters, we do prefer to treat holistically, treating the whole person. For these reasons, the suitability of functional testing will be discussed with you ,if deemed necessary, during your consultation and suggested only if it is necessary to enhance treatment

Test kits are sent out via Australia Post, with the client responsible for collecting the sample (urine, stool, or hair) and posting it back to the laboratory. Test results are sent directly to your practitioner whereby a follow-up consultation is necessary to discuss the findings.

Hormonal health ~ DUTCH (dried urine sample) - $380 *

This test helps to identify hormonal imbalances and tests cortisol, cortisone, cortisol metabolites, progesterone, androgens, oestrogens, melatonin and organic acids

Hair 500 BioCompatibility Test  (hair sample)- $295 *

This tests helps to identify causes of digestive symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Additionally this may impact energy levels, hormones, cause headaches and impact your immune function. The hair sample is provided by the client, along with the completed form for the PRACTITIONER to package and post to the laboratory.

My DNA Comprehensive Health Report (cheek swab) - $249 *

This test assesses digestive function, energy levels, hormonal irregularities, stress response, brain cognition, inflammation, DNA health and detoxification pathways. This gives us a comprehensive picture of what is happening within the body and how to assist the body to function better.
